Inside the villa Inside the villa
A kitchen, a living room and a porch, not a hotel room
Every rental at River Oaks is a villa or condo, with the space and the kitchen that a hotel room does not have. Cook in, spread out, and sit outside after the round.
- A full kitchen Dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave, with the pots, pans, bake ware, plates, toaster and coffee maker to use them. Cook breakfast before the round and eat in the nights you want to.
- A living room and a porch or balcony Every villa has a proper living room, and most open onto a screened porch or balcony over the grounds. It is where the evening ends up after a day out.
- Wi-Fi and streaming TV Wi-Fi is included in every rental, and the TVs stream live channels, sports and on demand shows, so the group can watch the game after playing their own.
- Washer and dryer in most villas Most villas and condos have a washer and dryer, plus an iron and ironing board, so a week of golf clothes and pool towels is easy to keep up with. Ask us about a specific villa.
- Linens and a starter kit Beds made, bath towels, wash cloths and a bath mat for each bathroom, with a starter kit of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and dishwasher detergent.
- Room for the whole group One, two and three bedroom layouts, and neighboring villas when an outing of eight or twelve wants to stay together. Most villas are wheelchair accessible. Ask before you book.
On the grounds
Pools, courts and a pond with a gazebo
The villas sit in low buildings among the pines, around a pond with a boardwalk out to a gazebo. The pools and the courts are a short walk from any door.
- Outdoor poolsResort pools with loungers on the deck, a short walk from the villas. Pool towels are not supplied, so pack a couple.
- Tennis courtsCourts on the grounds for the afternoon off, or for the one in the party who left the clubs at home.
- The pond and gazeboThe villas sit around a pond with a gazebo at the end of a boardwalk. The porches look out over it, and an evening walk around it is the resort at its best.
- Grilling areasMost buildings have a grilling area outside. Grilling on porches, decks and balconies is not allowed, so the grills are where the cookout happens.

The porch
The screened porch is where the day ends
Most villas open onto a screened porch or a balcony with a table and chairs, looking over the grass, the pines and the pond. Coffee out there before the first tee, and the scorecard debate after the last one.
- Screened, so the evening is bug freeSit out after dark without the mosquitoes joining you.
- Ground floor or upstairsGround floor villas walk straight out onto the grass. Upper floors get the view over the pond and the trees.
- Grill outside, eat on the porchCook at the building's grilling area and carry it up. Grilling on the porch itself is not allowed.
Golf at the gate
World Tour Golf Links shares a fence line with the resort
Twenty seven holes modelled on famous layouts from around the world, two minutes from the villa door. Add tee times there, or at any of the fourteen public courses within ten miles, to the villa at booking and the whole trip is one confirmation.

- No smoking, no petsEvery villa is non smoking inside. Pets are not allowed, though service animals are welcome under the ADA. Let us know at booking if you are bringing one.
- Help during the stayThe villa is cleaned before arrival rather than daily. Our team is a phone call away for the whole stay for anything that needs sorting.
